In 2015 Peter J Matthews (director of Genesis: Book One – The Awakening) will make you believe… that you can fly!

My name is Peter J. Matthews, founder of Murray Dog Films. I founded this new film company around the same time that I completed the first installment of the Genesis trilogy, The Awakening. (screenplay completed January 12, 2012).

It is my intention to officially launch the existence of Murray Dog Films with the sale of the first installment of the Genesis Trilogy, Genesis: Book One – The Awakening.

The Genesis Trilogy, is a gritty, modern day super-hero tale with a twist that’s firmly planted within the roots of ancient mythology.

Our story begins with Jonathan Taylor, a young man who is uncertain of his place in the world. He is smart and clever but lacks the motivation to really do anything of value with his life. Instead, he lives vicariously through his friend, Michael.

Michael is a bit older than Jonathan, about fifteen years. He is an accomplished man, as he is independently wealthy. Michael is an ivy league graduate, an adventurer, and is very spiritual. He has taken Jonathan under his wing, and intends to guide him to a better state of existence.

Soon Jonathan experiences a tragic, life changing moment that catapults him on an epic adventure as old as time itself. Guided by two wise, enlightened sages, deep in the Himalayas, Jonathan, embarks on a quest to fulfill a prophecy by transforming his mind, body and soul; and becoming the light to guide humanity into a new age of self-salvation.

What I would like to accomplish here is to find an investor(s) to assist in the process towards the sale and production of Genesis: Book One – The Awakening.

My short term goal and why the investment is needed, is to allow me to dedicate 100% of my time on this project as well as to purchase software and equipment (computers, camera) that will allow me to create a ‘storyboard in motion’ or what is also known as an Animatic. Each segment will be posted here as they are completed, as well as on my YouTube channel.

The creation of this Animatic will greatly improve the chances of selling the project to a major studio, and thus going into production.

Please note that the project is not just a single film, but rather three full feature films. What is known as a ‘trilogy scaled arc of story’.
